Creating Cohorts

The Cohort Discovery area is one of the most powerful parts of the Atmolytics system. It’s where you create and edit cohorts of different groups of patients 

Any cohort that you create becomes instantly available for exploration using our Cohort Insights feature, or for reporting using any of the reporting Apps available to you.

It’s important to remember at all times that when you’re using Cohort Discovery, you are using filters to identify patients and add them to a cohort.  You may or may not subsequently create reports and explore data relating to this group of patients.

The critical point is for you to be clear in yourself about the difference between:

• The patients who are to be included in the cohort, and
• The data about those patients which is to be included in any report.
