Events and Processes

The Events and Processes App enables you to define and explore your own performance indicators, including both locally-agreed standards or universal standards.

For example, you could produce an Events and Processes report to find the answers to the following questions:

  • How soon after admission was the patient triaged
  • After a treatment was identified as needed, how soon was the treatment given?
  • Does performance vary by doctor, or team, or time of year?
  • Has performance improved after a quality improvement intervention?

Below are a couple of sample sections of an Events and Processes report:

Its features allow you to:

  • Set your own benchmark for any two events and see if it has been achieved.
  • Explore variations in performance by time, location or doctor (or other role).
  • Create subgroups of patients for whom the standard either was or was not met.

Identify outliers and explore why the standard was not met.
