Cohort selections can interact with report selections
When creating a cohort an important consideration is the extent to which filters that may be applied within the cohort definition could equally be applied in report creation.
For example, there is usually no need to define a cohort: Females admitted to Ward A and another cohort: Females admitted to Ward B since the data included within the scope of a report can be selected on a report-by-report basis.
Hence if only data from Ward A is included within a report, the cohort Female patients will be enough to identify all and only those patients admitted to Ward A within a report
