Deactivating Service Users With Open Involvements
New validation has been added in the Admin area to prevent deactivation of Service User records with open Involvement(s). Any Involvements must now be closed before a Service User can be deactivated.
This change addresses an issue during Centre of Care deactivation, where Admins were blocked because one or more deactivated Service User(s) had open involvements - but it was not possible to see a list of these to identify them.
Adding this validation ensures Service Users can’t be deactivated if they have open involvements, preventing hidden conflicts that block Centre of Care deactivation.
To resolve existing cases of inactive Service Users with open involvements, a script has been developed (available on request) to help customers identify and clean these up as a one-time fix.
