Settings
The Settings area of the Administrative functions contains seven sections of setting - which apply for the whole Care Partner system (across the organisation).
Ensure that you click Save at the bottom of any section you are editing to save your changes.
Note: Some of the available settings may not be relevant to your organisation.
To see and understand the individual settings for a section, open the relevant section below.

Enable Advanced Security (Yes/No): When Yes is selected, this enables the Advanced Security module.
Enable Sensitive Data (Yes/No): When Yes is selected, this restricts the visibility of Sensitive Data.
Enable Centre of Care Data Restriction (Yes/No): When Yes is selected, only service users linked to Centres of Care that staff have been assigned to are visible.
When a User has Admin access, this setting doesn’t apply because Admins have permissions to see all service users.
The quick search, advanced search and Work list lookups all perform an extra check to ensure that the staff member you are using is associated with the Centre of Care that the service user has Involvements with.
Centres of Care scoping will apply to:
- Quick Search
- Advanced Search
- Work lists (My List, Centres of Care, Role, Staff and Caseload)
- Summary Screen
- Work List Recent Notes
- Work List Group Calendar
- Work List print
Please note, turning on Centres of Care scoping severely restricts the visibility of service user data to staff and unless explicitly required should be left off. Consider the consequences of using Centres of Care Scoping in your organisation and if you do turn this on, that it is fully tested and explained to staff.
