Simplified User Access
Improvements have been made to the system to simplify user access. In this release we have consolidated the ‘user’ and ‘staff’ concepts to just be a single ‘user’ within the system.
This means that there are fewer steps in onboarding new users onto the application.
Access to the system has also been improved to enable Administrators to assign a ‘role’ to a user which will determine the level of access they have to the system. Customers can choose between standard access or elevated access.
Formulate Portal (CareCalc) customers using the system for data entry and reporting
Standard users are able to:
- Access the Budget Calculations case-list tab for their Service Area
- Complete forms
- Access the Data Explorer tab - to view insights and create data extracts (extract to .csv file)
- Delete forms they have opened within a specified time period
Elevated access users are able to do the above, and:
- Delete forms regardless of who has opened the form or when it was completed
- View Budget Calculation case-lists for all Service Areas
- Access the ‘Service Users’ administrative screen - to edit Service Users identifiers
- Access the ‘Users’ administrative screen - to edit users, add new users and reset passwords.
- Access the ‘Broadcasts’ administrative screen - to create, schedule and remove broadcast messages for users.
- Access the ‘Audit’ administrative screen - to view audit entries for all users
Web-service customers using the system for reporting
Standard users are able to:
- Access the Data Explorer tab - to view insights and create data extracts (extract to .csv file)
Elevated access users are able to do the above, and:
- Access the ‘Service Users’ administrative screen - to edit Service Users identifiers
- Access the ‘Users’ administrative screen - to edit users, add new users and reset passwords.
- Access the ‘Broadcasts’ administrative screen - to create, schedule and remove broadcast messages for users.
