Exporting Forms to Excel

Exporting forms to Excel improves collaboration on form design and allows for increased visibility of forms for non Builder users.

From the Exports screen, select Export to and then Data Dictionary to generate an Excel file.

Click View Export to download your file. Excel/your Imosphere data entry solution exports can be identified by the Type column.

The Excel Export has tabs for:

  • Forms
  • Form lines
  • Form line drop down list options
  • Form line constraints

There is also a System info tab containing meta data about the export and global calculations to enable internal sheet linking.

There are links to enable simple navigation between forms, form lines, etc. When selected, the link will navigate to the relevant tab and highlight all the related records

For example, selecting the first form lines link will move to the form lines tab and select all the form lines for that form.
